Our Story
Built by a Caregiver, for Caregivers
When my grandfather was diagnosed with dementia, I found myself drowning in uncertainty. Every day brought new questions: Did he sleep well last night? Has he been drinking enough water? Why is today harder than yesterday? I was tracking everything in scattered notes, trying to find patterns that might help me give him better days.
I quickly realized that the connection between daily care and cognitive wellness isn't random, it's a pattern. Sleep quality, hydration, nutrition, physical activity, social stimulation, and even pain levels all play a role in how someone with dementia experiences their day. Research from the National Institute on Aging and the Alzheimer's Association confirms what caregivers see firsthand: consistent daily routines and attentive tracking of behavioral and psychological symptoms (BPSD) can meaningfully improve quality of life.
"I wished for a simple tool that could help me see the bigger picture, not just what happened today, but what's been working over time."
That's why I built SteadyDay. It's the app I needed during the hardest chapter of my life. With just a few taps each day, you can log the factors that matter most, from sleep and meals to behavioral changes and your own wellbeing as a caregiver. Over time, SteadyDay reveals the patterns that help you understand what leads to good days and what to watch for on difficult ones.
Caregiving is an act of love, and you deserve tools that support you in that work. SteadyDay was built with the belief that better data leads to better care, and that no caregiver should have to navigate this journey without insight and support.
